Today's Outfit - June 12, 2011

 

So obviously I am not in my room as usual. I am on the porch of my family and I's hotel room at the beach in these photos. I wore this outfit today. It is casual with a bit of bling and "sparkle" to it. I don't really wear my hair down much but today I was feeling very chill so I did. Even though it may not look like it, just about everything I am wearing here is retail. Finally, I am very excited about this summer and the rest of my stay at the beach. Today's Outfit - June 5, 2011

Ok, so I this outfit is fairly simple. I wore it to the movies. I saw Kung Fu Panda 2 with my family which was amazing and of course very funny. The denim skirt is actually a fairly recent purchase. It is very comfortable and goes with pretty much anything. I don't really wear flip flops much but I was feeling very laid back today. The skirt definitely follows the very popular denim trend for spring and summer. Even though plaid isn't nearly as advertised as it has been in previous years it is definitely still trending for spring and summer. So, overall I like this outfit, but I love to hear your opinions!

 Ok, so this outfit is not recent at all. I wore this in mid- March. The bottom, is a black frilled skirt and black leggings with black ankle boots. I actually wore this to my birthday party. I have been doing a lot with makeup lately also, obviously from my face. This outfit is very fun and glamorous while also casual.

What I wore to the movies

This is what I wore to the movies today. My family and I went to see Megamind. It was not amazing but not horrible. Overall I would give the movie 3 and 1/2 stars. This outfit is casual but with a bit of a " bedazzled" twist.The jeans I am wearing are just like the Old Navy skinny jeans I am always talking about, except they are boot cut instead of skinny. I love sweaters! I especially love gray sweaters. Gray is a very subtle but lovely color. The shirt obviously is the bedazzled twist. I love this shirt! It is just so cool with the little rhinestones on it. I also think the scarf gives the outfit a bit more excitement too. I love animal print, even though I do not own a lot of it. I love this outfit. Also I can not wait for Thanksgiving tomorrow! So excited!! I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving too!

What I bought at JcPenney Today

So, after church, my mom, 2 sisters and I went to the JcPenney in our mall to see if we could find anything nice for fall since it was getting colder. We did not have a lot of time but I was able to purchase these great tops from Olsenboye. Olsenboye is a teen girls clothing line that was started by the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, just this year. They have taken inspiration from some of the most fashion forward places in the world such as New York and London. I absolutely love Olsenboye! These tops are from their special holiday collection.Not only are they cute, but they are also great for layering for when it gets cold outside.

Today's Outfit

 

This is what I wore to my friend's house, yesterday. It is really your basic  " All American" fall look. It has that American Eagle feel without breaking the bank. A beret is an accessory that is very flexible and easy to afford. I really like this outfit. It is simple but attractive.

Simply Striped

 

This is what I wore Friday.My mom said I was " All dressed up" because the only place I went in this outfit was Walmart. Yet, I always like to look nice, no matter where I go. We went to get my sister's birthday presents. Her birthday is actually today. She is nine. I thought I would change up the scene a bit so I took this picture in front of the fireplace in my house. I am also sitting instead of standing. So, once again I am wearing my black flower bow headband and my heart necklace. You guys have seen this top before but not with these jeans. I often repeat individual clothes but I never repeat outfits. I am totally loving stripes right now. Stripes and plaid are great patterns to wear during the fall.
