Today's Outfit - June 12, 2011

 

So obviously I am not in my room as usual. I am on the porch of my family and I's hotel room at the beach in these photos. I wore this outfit today. It is casual with a bit of bling and "sparkle" to it. I don't really wear my hair down much but today I was feeling very chill so I did. Even though it may not look like it, just about everything I am wearing here is retail. Finally, I am very excited about this summer and the rest of my stay at the beach. I will definetely be posting pictures from the beach and other lovely outfits. Much <3 ~ Lyndra

 Ok, so this outfit is not recent at all. I wore this in mid- March. The bottom, is a black frilled skirt and black leggings with black ankle boots. I actually wore this to my birthday party. I have been doing a lot with makeup lately also, obviously from my face. This outfit is very fun and glamorous while also casual.

Today's Outfit

So this is what I wore to Barnes and Noble today. I decided to go with the menswear trend today, so I am wearing my red button up shirt with black pin stripes and my new fedora.I got the fedora for Christmas and am absolutely loving it. What is also new is my necklace, which I got from my aunt for Christmas. I am also wearing my ever so classic pea coat. These are worn with my black jeans and all black Converse. All in all this a very simple yet classic look.

Today's Outfit

So, this is what I wore to the mall today. I(aka, my mom ;) was able to buy a few shirts from Forever21, but they are part of my Christmas presents so I will show them in a Christmas blog post and/or haul video. I wear berets a lot during the fall and winter. I added the white bow because I thought it would add a bit of spark to the usual blackness of the beret. I am wearing one of my new Olsenboye tops from JcPenney.It is really comfy and cute. I love it. For accessories, I am wearing my usual black heart necklace, some beaded braclets, and a lime green watch. Of course, I am once again wearing my favorite Old Navy jeans. Even though you guys can't see my shoes they are simple converse in  a light shade of pink. This outfit is very casual but very cute. In short, a great casual outfit for fall.

What I bought at JcPenney Today

So, after church, my mom, 2 sisters and I went to the JcPenney in our mall to see if we could find anything nice for fall since it was getting colder. We did not have a lot of time but I was able to purchase these great tops from Olsenboye. Olsenboye is a teen girls clothing line that was started by the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, just this year. They have taken inspiration from some of the most fashion forward places in the world such as New York and London. I absolutely love Olsenboye! These tops are from their special holiday collection.Not only are they cute, but they are also great for layering for when it gets cold outside.

Simply Striped

 

This is what I wore Friday.My mom said I was " All dressed up" because the only place I went in this outfit was Walmart. Yet, I always like to look nice, no matter where I go. We went to get my sister's birthday presents. Her birthday is actually today. She is nine. I thought I would change up the scene a bit so I took this picture in front of the fireplace in my house. I am also sitting instead of standing. So, once again I am wearing my black flower bow headband and my heart necklace. You guys have seen this top before but not with these jeans. I often repeat individual clothes but I never repeat outfits. I am totally loving stripes right now. Stripes and plaid are great patterns to wear during the fall.
